Landscaping

The process of making a garden more attractive by altering the existing design, adding ornamental features and planting trees and shrubs.

Watering

Water plants grown in the soil deeply once or twice a week to saturate the soil to a depth of 15 centimetres. Typically, once-a-week watering will suffice, but they may require more frequent watering when the weather is hot and dry or the plant is experiencing rapid growth or fruiting

Irrigation

 

The best place to start irrigating your garden is with pen and paper. Measure your garden and using graph paper draw a nap of your garden to scale, including where your water is. 

Use your plan to decide where you need to water and the distance you need your hose to be.

Hardscaping is the man-made features used in landscape architecture; eg paths or walls as contrasted with vegetation..

Outdoor Structures​

 

There are many websites that have plans for outdoor furniture, gazebos and green houses.

 

Perhaps join a .local wood working group to learn these skills.
