Working towards 2019
Over 40 gardens will be open over 3 days in November 2019.
The Rotorua District Festival of Gardens is held every 2 years.
Self-guided garden ramble
The Rotorua Festival is a self-guided garden ramble where you can choose which of the gardens to visit at any time over the 3 days. The ‘all-in-one’ ticket/booklet/map lists the gardens and the maps will help you find them. Some gardens will have items for sale – plants, food, artworks (on a cash only basis).
Variety of gardens to enjoy
Gardens vary in size from small city gardens to large rambling country gardens. Some are a labour of love for their dedicated owners, and others are professionally designed and maintained to perfection. All show what can be achieved and provide ideas and inspiration for others to enjoy.
Supporting BayTrust Rescue Helicopter & St John New Zealand in 2017.
Our gardeners & Committee members generously donated their time and efforts to help raise funds for BayTrust Rescue Helicopter and St John New Zealand in 2017.
