Three-Day Festival Pass

The Rotorua Festival of Gardens committee have simplified ticket purchases for the 2023 festival. There will be no 1-day ticket this year, just one Festival Pass covering all three days. The Festival Pass will allow purchasers to visit gardens as often as they wish, permitting them to work around adverse weather conditions, or other commitments.
Rotorua Festival of Gardens committee president Carol Bannister said she "believes people will appreciate the flexibility this new option offers festival goers and trusts users will honour the intention of 'one pass, one person' by not sharing passes."
"Putting on a major festival such as this requires a lot of money, and as a small volunteer group we are reliant on funders, sponsors and the sale of passes to make it viable. We ask festivalgoers to buy their own pass and help keep this long-established biennial event going strong."

Entry to each garden is via a valid festival lanyard. The pass must be inserted into the lanyard and must be worn at all times while visiting festival gardens.

There will be no refunds. Please think carefully before purchasing tickets. No refunds will be issued for unused passes or lost lanyard/passes.

There are no group discounts.

Passes can only be ordered online via this site using the services of the Eventbrite ticketing platform.

In the unlikely event of a cancellation, notifications will appear on our website and Facebook page as soon as practical.

Gardeners have generously opened their gardens for this event. Please respect their property (and privacy) and refrain from removing any plant material or goods of any kind.

Please adhere to all instructions from garden owners and organisers during the festival.

We recognise gardens have hazards so please read the individual site hazard notices before entering signposted properties. Neither the festival organisers nor the garden owners are liable for any injury, loss or damage that may arise.

Children under 16 must be accompanied (and supervised) by an adult.

No pets are allowed.

Do not litter.

As this event has strong sustainable values, we encourage recycling. Please leave lanyards at either the last garden visited or drop it off at Palmers.

Any goods for sale in gardens are cash sales only.

A downloadable digital copy of the festival guidebook will be emailed to pass purchasers.

The festival pack, including lanyard, will be available for pick up at the festival hub, Palmers Rotorua at 147 Sala Street, from 6th October. Proof of purchase will be required when collecting festival packs either via a mobile phone or a printed copy of the Eventbrite transaction.

As the festival approaches, news and updates on exact timeframes will be publicised via this site, Facebook and Instagram.
Upon registering for an event on Eventbrite, an account linked to your email address is automatically created. To access your tickets, simply log in using the same email address and click on the "Tickets" option from the drop-down menu in your Eventbrite account.
To access your e-ticket from a desktop computer, follow these steps:

Log in to your Eventbrite account on the Eventbrite website or app.

Click on the "Tickets" tab in the screen's top right-hand corner.

Locate the event you have purchased a ticket for and click on it.

Click the "View Ticket" button to access your e-ticket.

You can print your e-ticket or display it on your smartphone during the festival.
