Years

RFoG have between 30 to 45 gardens each year that are open to ticket holders. Below are some of the gardens featured in different years.

Ticket holders are issued with a wristband, a booklet with maps to visit the stunning gardens that the Rotorua District has to offer. You may also have the opportunity to meet the creators of the gardens.

12-14 November 2021

The 2021 Festival features over 40 gardens, ranging from smaller town backyards to large expansive rural masterpieces. Half of the 2021 gardens on offer are new participants or
involve gardeners who have moved properties to create a new garden to share. Both beginners and experienced gardeners will find ideas and concepts for all to Be inspired.

The ninth Annual Festival was held on Friday, 2nd November to Sunday, 4th November.  This festival was themed for the "Rhododendron". 

"The private gardens, city public parks and gardens that we showcase for your enjoyment will be at their best so we just ask you to relax, breathe the fragrance, and feel the ambience of "Our Place Rotorua.
